MNKR is engaged, to other MNKR'er

Hello!  I've been wanting to catch up on lost time and post a few fun things about us and what we have been up to since our last post in August 2010.  Let's just say that we are not very hip to posting regularly.
Where to start...oh November was quite significant!  We headed to Maui with a few friends (one of which was our friend Misha from Misha Ashton Photography).  Needless to say we had an amazing time; we sun bathed, took the road to Hana, hiked around the Haleakala Crater, and much more.  It was truly one of the best vacations I have been on since our trip to Europe in 2005.  To my surprise about 4 or 5 days into the trip Matt wanted to take me out for a fun night with just the two of us.  We began the night by driving out to Paia, had a beer and played some pool at Charleys (Willie Nelsons bar).  I wanted to stay and have dinner there, but Matt insisted we shove off to somewhere else he had planned.  We bought a bottle of champagne and headed out to the lava fields (you may think that buying champagne would be a hint to something special going on, but I am an old lady at heart and love to drink champagne at any time).  We arrived and walked out to a small beach.  I sat down and was watching the sun go down as Matt stood at the edge of the water with the waves moving past his feet.  He immediately asked me to join him and within a few moments he kicked something by the side of his foot.  He picked it up with a genuine look of excitement.  It was a cool old bottle with a message inside.  I freaked and being the grabby gimme person I am said 'lemme see'!!!  Below is exactly what he picked up.

I started to read it with such excitement thinking it was crazy that we found a message in a bottle, but as I got further I was super confused.  I asked Matt...well more told him 'you did this, right' his response was, 'just read it all already'.  I put away my my squinty questioning look and finished the note.  At that point Matt had already asked me to marry him.  I said 'shut up' in a no way this is happening kinda way and he asked again. It took me a few moments, but after that initial 'no way this is happening' thought... I realized he is my best friend and so it was an easy yes.  Long story shortenedish, we have been together about 6 years and this was our time.  We are a great pair even though we bicker like old folks and along with our great relationship we have our amazing company MNKR.  There you have it, this was a very special moment in our lives and hope you enjoyed hearing a piece of it.  If not, I am sorry but your time has already been spent no take backs.  Do you guys have any fun stories of proposals or what not, love to hear em'.  Hope you are all great, talk to you at the next post.
